This Privacy Policy explains how ceyonai (“ceyonai”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website and application at ceyonai.com (the “Service”), an AI tool for generating captions/subtitles and editing videos. By using the Service you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you sign in — including with Google — we receive your name, email address, and profile image from your chosen sign-in provider, and store a user identifier.
Content you upload. Video and audio files you upload, and the transcripts, captions, edits, and exported files generated from them.
Usage & billing data. Basic product usage (such as processing minutes used) and, if you subscribe to a paid plan, subscription status. Payments are handled by our payment processor; we do not store your full card details.
Technical data. Standard log data such as IP address, browser type, and error diagnostics.

2. How we use your information

To provide the Service — transcribe, caption, edit, and export your videos.
To authenticate you and keep your account and projects secure.
To operate billing, enforce plan limits, and prevent abuse.
To maintain, debug, and improve the Service.

3. Google user data

When you sign in with Google, we request only your basic profile (name, email address, profile picture) to create and identify your account. ceyonai’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising.

4. Service providers

We share data only with vendors that help us run the Service, under their own terms and safeguards:

Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage.
Sarvam AI — speech-to-text transcription of your audio.
Razorpay — payment processing (paid plans).
Vercel & Render — application and API hosting.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data retention

We keep your account and project data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual projects at any time, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us (see below). Rendered exports may be automatically removed after a limited period.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures — encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers — to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

7. Your rights

You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and withdraw consent, by contacting us. We will respond within a reasonable time.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
